I began working freelance for M&S in
June 2007 and have continued to write regularly as part of
their in-house packaging team. Working alongside the design
department and specialising in food & drink, I have
written across a wide range of new and existing product
ranges, including the launch of Cook's Essentials – their
first ever range of ingredients products, the New York
deli-inspired Cake Shop range and the recent Italian ready

Sainsbury's Taste The Difference
For this job – the first major re-design of
Sainsbury's premier sub-brand Taste The Difference – I
worked with brand specialists BR&Me, who brought me in
as sole copywriter to consolidate the copy style, establish
a consistent tone of voice and, ultimately, help increase
the profile and desirability of this market-leading range.

Roger Harris Wines are Britain's leading
Beaujolais specialist and have been importing the finest
artisan Beaujolais wines since 1974. I became involved with
this family-run company in March 2007, when they approached
me to bring a fresh tone of voice to their communications.
